84% of local employment in the tourism sector, the proportion of

Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is working to regulate the labor market in the tourism sector makes it more economical to job opportunities for Jordanian workers, and reduce the proportion of expats significantly in all tourism sectors.
According to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Issa Qmoh, during the past two years operating ratio in the tourism sector rose by 11%, while up working in the tourism sector, the proportion of local labor to (84%), while the ministry has banned the appointment of immigrant labor in specific tourism sectors such as offices Tourism and travel.
He revealed Qmoh in a statement »Constitution» for the ministry is seeking to increase the proportion of employment in the tourism sector to the total operating in all sectors of 6% to reach global proportions, estimated at about 18% due to the ability of the sector to generate more jobs, to include this increase employment rates in all governorates of the Kingdom.
Qmoh pointed out that the ministry is working to support small-scale projects for tourism through the Development and Employment Fund, which provided more than three million dinars, and provided nearly four thousand jobs directly and indirectly.
He said that the ministry has identified Qmoh Mehanna tourist citizens only banned on expatriate labor, such as travel and tourism offices, while some professions in the tourist restaurants and hotels still stand in front of the barrier culture of shame, which highlights the need for foreign workers there.
