Director General of the Association of Jordan hotels left Majali said that hotel occupancy rates in the UK did not exceed 20% over the past week the past. Majali attributed the decline in hotel occupancy rates in the UK to two reasons; first; weather conditions in the Kingdom during the past few days, coupled with the heavy snowfall and II; decline in tourism in the Kingdom. Majali pointed out that the Dead Sea hotels bookings 15% ratios did not exceed them in hotel occupancy rates did not exceed 20% of the capital Amman. Majali pointed out that there is a crisis afflicting Kingdom Hotels as a result of the decline in tourism in the Kingdom, which led to the closures in hotels in the city of Petra as a result of the decline in occupancy rates and rising costs. The Union of tourist associations demanded in a letter addressed to Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Eagles; reconsider the restructuring of the Ministry of Tourism and the creation of a full-time minister for the sector and raise Ssuyth given the decline in indicators during the current year.
